There was a time when I would leave a session with a healer or teacher feeling amazing.
Something had been seen in me that I hadn’t been able to put into words. Someone would speak to something deep inside me, something I already knew in a way I couldn’t quite explain. Receiving energetic healing I would feel more me. I would hear wisdom that touched my soul, receive answers to questions I had been carrying, and learn what was waiting for me in the future.
I would walk away feeling lighter. Sometimes I felt a whole new sense of possibility.
And then life would happen.
I would find myself uncertain again, trying to make sense of what I had heard, what I was feeling, and what was actually happening in my life. I had been given something meaningful, but I didn’t always know how to work with it once I was back in the middle of things.
It was like being handed a map to a place I longed to reach, without knowing how to read it.
So I would seek another healer, another teacher, someone who could help me understand. And often, they would touch that same place in me. I would feel recognized, encouraged, connected to something larger than the questions I had come with.
Then, after a while, the cycle would begin again.
Looking back, I have so much compassion for that version of myself. I was searching for understanding, and there was real value in what I received. But I began to see that receiving an answer and knowing how to live with that answer were two different things.
I needed to understand how to work with the wisdom I was receiving. I needed to pay attention to what was happening within me as I moved through my actual life: the feelings I couldn’t explain, the reactions that surprised me, the things my body was expressing before I had words for them. I needed space to learn, to ask questions, and to see what was happening as life unfolded.
And I needed people who could stay alongside me through that process, who could see things I couldn’t yet see and help me understand what was happening as I lived it.
Because someone can offer you a beautiful truth, but you are the one who has to live your life. And sometimes, what we most need is help understanding how that truth meets the life we’re living.
This understanding has become an important part of how I work with people.
A single session can offer insight, healing, direction and a different way of seeing something. Working together over time allows us to continue with that work as life unfolds. As you begin living the changes, integrating them, we have space to work with what comes up, deepen what is shifting, and meet the next part of the journey together. Change happens in steps, and having someone alongside you means you have support as those changes become part of your life.
There is room for the questions that arise afterward, for deeper understanding, for teaching and energetic healing, and for the things that become visible only as you move through your days.
You don’t have to know exactly what you need or where the work will take you. Sometimes you simply know that something in your life is asking for attention, or that you are ready for a different experience of living.
I know that place. I’ve been there myself.
And I know how meaningful it can be to have someone alongside you, helping you make sense of what is happening and bringing wisdom and healing to the places where you need them.
With love and blessings,
Susan
